Therapy

The First/Introductory Appointment

The first session is an introductory session, where I will get a sense of what is going on for you and what has brought you to counselling and you will get a sense of how I work and the type of counsellor I am.

It is very important that you take a day or two after this session to decide if you want to begin counselling. There will be no obligation on you in this initial session, to make a second appointment.

Counselling Style:

I mainly work in an integrative way using Gestalt, Person-Centred and Cognitive Behavioural methods of counselling.

Appointments:

Appointments are by prior arrangement only.

Counselling Fees.

Counselling fees are paid at the end of each session.
Fees per Session: 70 euros.

Student Therapists

If you are training to become a therapist there is probably a Personal Counselling requirement as part of your qualification.

I would be delighted to meet with you to discuss the possibility of us working together during your training.
You can get a sense of how I work from this initial session and make your decision from there.

I understand all too well the expense involved in training to become a therapist and will endeavour to come to a financial arrangement which feels fair to us both.

Sarah Sutton.

Nobody, as long as he moves about among the chaotic currents of life, is without trouble.
